The   small seaside residential complex “Golden View Villas” with private parking, a nice surrounding area with flowers, trees and a basketball court  is located in Gouri Kouki area of Sounio. Crossing the pine forest you can reach just in 1.5 minutes on foot (150 m) a wonderful sandy beach (“Asimakis Beach”). Nearby there are small scattered bays and at 300 m distance there is a smaller but also beautiful beach (“Port Arthur Beach”).

Within a few minutes’ walk there is a lovely bakery of Santorini “Vamvakousis” including a mini-market and many taverns. There are also hiking roads with great views of the Aegean Sea.

The property is half an hour (3,5 km) distance from Athens International Airport, just one hour drive (60 km)  from the Acropolis and the center of Athens for easy exploration, 4 km from the Temple of Poseidon, 3 km from Lavrio where you can find a supermarket, fish market with fresh fish, pharmacies, health center, many taverns, ouzo, cinema, bars and cafes but also a port of access to many Greek islands. There is a bus stop in two-minutes walking distance with  frequent itineraries to Poseidon Temple,  Athens and Lavrio.

By Car:

Coming from the International Airport of Athens and Attica Tollway (Attiki Odos) you pass through Lavrio and head to Sounio. After 4 km and having passed the Olympic Marina and the Asimakis Beach you arrive at the Sounio Bakery Santorini-Vamvakoussi, where you turn left and after 50 m you turn again left and you will see a basketball court and the Golden View Villas complex.

Coming from the coastal road from Athens after passing the Temple of Poseidon you proceed towards Sounio. In 2,5 km you will find on your right hand side the Sounio Bakery Santorini-Vamvakousi, where you turn left and after 50 m again left and you will see a basketball court and the Golden View Villas complex.

 

By bus from Athens:

Buses start from Egypt Square (Pedion Areos) in Athens:

– via Attica Tollway (Attiki Odos) to Lavrio. From Lavrio there is a bus to Sounio. Disembark at station Bakery Vamvakousis in Sounion.

– via coastal road to Sounio (Temple of Poseidon) and from there you find the bus to Lavrio. Disembark at station Bakery Vamvakousis in Sounion.
